At the end of the 90’s D.E.C.A. Srl  started a scientific collaboration with Telecom and CREA for the use of the GlobalGest management system, predecessor of Welcome2©, in the agricultural sector. 
In particular, we wanted to create a web platform for the management of forecasts of vine pathologies with artificial intelligence systems for the drastic reduction of pesticide use, and automated management of all activities related to treatments in viticulture (http://www.ghwine.it/).
The GHW Grape Health Wine Project has involved 8 partners: D.E.C.A., University of Tor Vergata, Federico II University of Naples, Falesco, Donnafugata, Mater, Laboratory, Vigne e Vini. 
6.7 million were invested, it took 5 years of work and was financed by the Ministry of Economic Development. In 2016, GHW was filed as a patent (n° 283343) as a “useful device in the agricultural field”, GHW brings intelligent digital innovation in agriculture and all this was made possible thanks to Welcome2’s philosophy.
